TABLE LINENS AND STYLING FABRICS
- Cotton Fabrics (Medium Weave and Tight Weave Runners): Machine wash separately gentle cycle/cold, or hand wash. Use mild pH neutral soap, plant dyes are "living" color that can be shifted by chemicals and drastic changes in pH. Tumble dry on low or hang to dry. Tumble drying may cause minor shrinkage, as the fabric will create a soft crinkle when tumble dried. Our cotton fabrics continue to get softer with each use. Iron on medium-high to remove wrinkles. Note, do not wash more than 20 yards of material at one time, the fabric may tangle in the wash.
- Linen Fabrics (including Silk+Linen runners): Dry Clean only.
- Sheer Silk Runners: Machine wash separately gentle cycle/cold, hand wash, or dry clean. Use mild pH neutral soap, plant dyes are "living" color that can be shifted by chemicals and drastic changes in pH. Hang dry recommend, you can tumble dry on low but minor shrinkage may occur. The fabric will create a soft crinkle when tumble dried. Iron on medium to remove wrinkles and create a smooth texture. Note, do not wash more than 20 yards of material at one time, the fabric may tangle in the wash.
- Ahimsa and Gossamer Fabrics: Throughout the dyeing process, our ribbons are cooked in color and washed several times to ensure colorfastness. While hand washing is possible, due to the delicate nature of the material it is not recommended to maintain it's original texture. If needed, hand wash in lukewarm water with mild pH neutral soap, plant dyes are "living" color that can be shifted by chemicals and drastic changes in pH. Hang to dry. Iron on medium heat on the back side of the fabric.
SILK PILLOWCASES
Machine wash gentle cycle/cold or hand wash. Use mild pH neutral soap, plant dyes are "living" color that can be shifted by chemicals and drastic changes in pH. Hang dry recommend, you can tumble dry on low but minor shrinkage may occur. Iron on medium to remove wrinkles.
PLANT DYED RIBBONS:
- Classic Habotai Ribbon: Our habutai silk ribbons are washable and reusable! Machine wash separately gentle cycle/cold, or hand wash. Use mild pH neutral soap, plant dyes are "living" color that can be shifted by chemicals and drastic changes in pH. Tumble dry on low or hang to dry. Iron when just barely damp on medium heat on the back side of the fabric.
- Sheer, Organza and Ethereal Ribbon: Handwashing or spot cleaning is recommended for organza silk. If needed, hand wash in lukewarm water with mild pH-neutral soap, plant dyes are "living" colors that can be shifted by chemicals and drastic changes in pH. Rinse well, but do not wring silk. Hang or lay flat to dry. Iron on medium heat on the backside of the fabric.
- Satin Silk Ribbon: Gently hand wash. You can machine wash separately gentle cycle/cold, but this will increase fraying on the edges. Use mild pH neutral soap, plant dyes are "living" color that can be shifted by chemicals and drastic changes in pH. Hang to dry or tumble dry, which will increase fraying on the edges. Iron when just barely damp on medium heat on the back side of the fabric.
